By opting in to the midlayr SMS program for two-factor authentication (2FA), you agree to these Terms & Conditions and our SMS Privacy Policy. midlayr ("we," "us," or "our") is an operations integration firm that provides clients with a secure online platform for managing projects, invoices, and documents. To protect your account, we use 2FA — when you log in, we send a one-time verification code to your mobile phone via SMS. If you do not agree to these terms, do not opt in. You may request that 2FA be disabled at any time by contacting us at connect@midlayr.com.
The midlayr SMS program delivers one-time verification codes (OTPs) to your mobile device when you attempt to log in to your midlayr account. Each message contains a short numeric code that you must enter to complete the login process. The code expires after a limited time. This program is purely transactional and security-related — we do not send promotional offers, coupons, newsletters, or third-party advertisements via SMS. Participation is voluntary and requires your express opt-in consent, but 2FA cannot be disabled via SMS; you must contact us directly to change your verification method.
By subscribing, you acknowledge that you will receive approximately 1 to 5 SMS messages per month — one each time you log in to your midlayr account and 2FA is triggered. If you log in frequently or if multiple login attempts are made, you may receive more. If your account is inactive, you will receive no messages. You will only receive messages that are directly related to authenticating your account.
Standard message and data rates may apply based on your mobile carrier plan. midlayr does not charge you to receive SMS messages. You are responsible for any messaging fees, data charges, or other costs imposed by your mobile carrier (AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, US Cellular, or other provider). Contact your carrier for details about your specific plan and applicable rates.
By providing your mobile number to midlayr and checking the consent box (or replying YES to an opt-in prompt), you expressly consent to receive 2FA verification code SMS messages from midlayr at the number you provided. You confirm that you are the owner or authorized user of the mobile number provided and that you are at least 18 years of age. You understand that consent is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services from midlayr.
Because 2FA messages are tied to your account security, you cannot fully opt out of receiving them while 2FA is enabled on your account. To disable 2FA or switch to a different verification method, contact us at connect@midlayr.com and we will update your account. You may also reply STOP or UNSUBSCRIBE to any message, which will block future SMS delivery — but please note this will prevent you from receiving future login codes until you contact us to update your verification method. For support, questions about your account, or questions about our 2FA program, reply HELP to any message and a midlayr team member will follow up with you.
We do not sell, rent, trade, share, or otherwise disclose your mobile number to any third party for marketing, advertising, or promotional purposes. Your number is stored securely in midlayr's internal systems, is accessible only to midlayr team members who need it to manage your account security, and is used exclusively by midlayr to deliver 2FA verification codes. Messages are transmitted through Twilio, our SMS service provider, solely for the purpose of delivering those messages.
The midlayr SMS program is supported by major U.S. carriers including AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, Sprint, US Cellular, and other participating carriers. We are not responsible for message delivery failures caused by carrier limitations, network outages, device issues, or other factors beyond our control.
You must be at least 18 years of age or have parental or guardian consent to participate in the midlayr SMS program. By opting in, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement.
midlayr reserves the right to modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date above. Continued use of your midlayr account after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
midlayr shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your participation in the SMS program, including but not limited to carrier charges, message delays, undelivered messages, or inability to log in due to a missed or delayed verification code.
